Good morning. Torrential rain for 2 - 3 hours last night. My butts overfloweth. It was bright and sunny earlier, now it's grey and chilly. My plan to strim and cut the grass has gone out the window, again. Hopefully late this afternoon. A bits and pieces day. I have a Zoom meeting on "Volunteering" at 11.00 so most of the day is built round that and this afternoon a PT session at 3.00pm.

Mrs P is out to lunch with a friend who is treating her. This is a full on five-course taster menu. Mrs P has said she will only want a light tea. I've offered an omelette. This has been accepted. On other matters of acceptance. Mrs P has ordered new carpet, as requested I've tracked down the Farrow & Ball paint Mrs P wants. I'll bob over to Preston today or tomorrow for that. Now I need Mrs P to accept my proposal for the shed colour. Life is one constant round of negotiation in this house!!:laugh:

Right... who is going to own up!!!
Who's nicked my sock ?
I bought 2 pair of ankle socks last week, good padded walking type at £8.00.
Just washed and dried everything and there is a sock missing  .
Had a torch in the washer and tumble drier. Checked the washing basket.....no sign.
Why couldn't it be an old one ? I've only worn them once
The Biro planet! It will be there. It's a little known fact that odd socks also inhabit the Biro planet. They secret themselves very cleverly in all sorts of nooks and crannies, and there are many billions of nooks and crannies on the Biro planet. Be patient, sometimes they sneak back to earth, when they do you must pounce, grab the little bugger and give it a severe talking to....................................

..........................alternatively buy another pair, then you'll have a spare for when the next one sneaks off....................much easier.

:hello:Mornng, it's a bit cool today at 23.4c, I had to put my dressing gown on
I need a few bits so off to Sainsburys soon

Up a bit later this morning so the planned ride with the BH has been postponed until Sunday, also the coffee delivery will be here earlier than normal from DPD. so we may have still been out when it came.

Nice and cool today although still sunny and it will get a bit warmer later ,also we had a decent bit of rain last night.

Should be quieter here this weekend as the neighbours are away so we won't have to listen to their brattish daughter having a meltdown every 5 minutes (only a slight exaggeration ) and it will be a break from his almost constant DIY and shed building over the last week.

Will possibly hop on the turbo this afternoon/evening as I still haven't properly tested the re-done Zwift Cog and click set-up and may do some more garden tidying as it's a bit cooler.

Not had the promised rain yet.
Managed a 2.5 mile walk in so pleased with that.
Unlike Mighty Mo, you can keep your hills
Them were the days when actually enjoyed walking up Everest. Takes all my time to bend down to fasten my shoelaces now
