Back from my walk. A pleasant 3.4 miles. Difficult in parts as I added the section where the construction traffic has churned it up so plenty of runs and bumps.

anyway - got the car to Halfords to get the puncture repaired by 8 hoping I could just have a coffee in Greggs and it would be ready

turns out they have a lot of hangover work so it will be a while

anyway - it'll get fixed

SWMBO's son is coming round to help erect the WHite House Ballroom
or pergoda as it says on the box - about the same size anyway

but he is coming round "about lunchtime
and he will almost certainly be picking his wife up from work at about 3-3:30
so we won;t have much time

I don't think him Mum had explained how big it is!!!


ALl this fuss all the time is the fault of the Chancellor

I think my wife thinks that an Old Age Pension evaporates if you don't spend it quickly!!!

The usual quote I use to Daughter No4 (who is a spender) is "Money is not like milk, it doesn't go off, you can keep it" 😂

It doesn't work, but, it amuses me 😊
