They do. A low pitched beep giving approximately 30 mins before a 2nd beep and they usually go dead minutes after the 3rd beep.

Hey Pete, according to the Chronic and Error website a big cat has been spotted on Ryehill, and from the pic it looks like a blummen big cat!

Biblical rain overnight. The river is in spate.
Currently heavy drizzle, cool & gloomy.
Normal August weather in The Lakes is resumed, ie, thoroughly miserable.
Much preferred the hot weather we had although obviously the land does need some water!
I hope this is not a precursor to the incessant rain we had October to March last season.
Sorry about the grumpy post but this weather really is not inspiring.

and had a lot to do this morning, but it's all done now

Been mostly cloudy with sunny intervals here and chilly when the sun is in but we've just had a thunderstorm so everything is now very wet, could have done with a bit longer with the rain still.
Got a good nights sleep (first this week) and didn't actually get up until 6:30 so a lie in for us!
Be a bit wet to do any gardening today but will look at getting some seeds sown (Turnips,Kale and Mustard) as it looks like the hottest weather will be behind us now.
Will get the All Road out for a quick check as looking to get out for a ride tomorrow.
