Just found out that the women's tour of britain is finishing on the great orme in Llandudno on Friday 21st.
Sadly, I may not be able to go.

Just got a message from Virgin Media asyin gthey want me to keep my TV Box connected and switched on for the next 72 hours while they do a software update (which could mean anything) to fix problems I may have been having with Sky SPorts+

a) I have not been having problems with Sky SPorts+
b) THAT IS RIGHT THROUGH THE DUTCH GP!!!

I have the same message.
Not sure what you mean by "right through the Dutch GP". They're not telling you not to watch it, just dont switch it off att the wall.

Went to a local Livign Well centre this mornig for a session as an AgeUK volunteer

My normal supervisor (i.e. employee ratehr than volunteer) is off this week so someone else was there

She is one of those people whose whole demenure says "Manager" - the nice competant kind but still

She was telling me that she got there early as she wasn;t sure where it was or how things worked
but it was closed so she looked for somewhere to have a coffee
but only Weatherspoons was open so she went there

apparently as she walked in a bloke was complaining as he had been refused an order of a pint because IT WAS BEFOTE 9a.m.!!!

and as she was orderign her coffee the person next to her was ordering a double Baileys to go with their English Breakfast

Well - she was deffo in 'Spoons!!!

Sorry your right, but to be honest what I was more concerned with besmirching the women that claims to have seen a panther in Northampton. And to back up this silly ( drug induced ? ) claim seems to have badly photoshoped a LIONESS onto her local street. 😂😂😂😀😀

We seem to have a poltergeist in the house.

MrsP Just put a glass of plain water onto a tray in the front room, and the glass right next to it with electrolytes in it exploded, sending glass up to 4 feet away.
I have seen an Adnams beer glass shatter after being washed in my kitchen and sitting on the draining board, but I can only guess it is a temperature thing, the physics of it i have no idea though.

Electrolyte powder or tabs to make a drink presumably. I drink them quite a lot too. Partly as I am a heavy sweater when exercising and feel they help stop getting headaches in hot weather/exercise too. Plus I struggle to drink enough water if it’s just plain. Got some more sachets coming tomorrow from Amazon.
