A cool 10° here and after yesterday's welcome steady rain we are apparently sunshine till 15.00.
Do you ever wake up thinking you have something to do 'today' but cant think what it is ? Well, I have that feeling! I'm sure it will come to me.

We are meeting up with some friends in Hoddersdon at a riverside pub for some lunch and a walk with the dogs along the Rivrr Lea.

How’s tricks?
Busy times here….got pals with us, & as we are now doing EH membership, we visited Osborne House for the first time in about 25 years: beautiful place 😍
Also had a tour of Bembridge Fort: fascinating history 🤓
Weather breaking, which is nice for the garden.
The solid thundery spells I see forecast from next Weds for the rest of summer, however, might make us hanker for the heat, & there is a chance I might regret signing up for a Round The Island bike ride on Sept 6th 🫣

Most of all, I’ve been busy mixing pizza dough and using the Ooni….

I think I’m almost pizza’d out now….

Fish Friday!
The MZ250 has returned to its owner, who is delighted with the work I did on it. So....my workshop is clear now and I can make some more Bantam clutch tools.
Off out at lunchtime to another pub on the CAMRA trail.

You'll love the round the IOW ride. I've done it a dozen times both clockwise and anticlockwise. Make sure you have your climbing legs fitted.

A definite change in the weather, cool N winds and showers forecast. Bring back the heat!

Some chores this morning then maybe a ride as not been on bike since Tuesday.

😴 Morning another crappy nights sleep
by the looks of things we have only 19c, but the sun's out.

Pleasant 5.2 mile wander done incorporating the riverside trail and a loop of the big park. It's so much more pleasant when it's cooler.

Protein porridge and blueberries finished and now have a big mug of decaf.
