Just getting my laughing gear around a toasted sarnie of bacon, cheese and tomatoes, V nice to.
Daughter does a chicken roast tea on Sundays and just told me it is delayed till 18.00 as SiL is going to the rugby.....not good enough imo but what can I do ?

I have put a second coat of paint on the doorframe, and a first coat on the door itself. Only a bit of paint on my sweatshirt 😆

Washing is in the machine, and a shower has been had.

Braised beef today using our own home grown vegetables, carrots and potatoes

Funny, in our marriage painting and decorating has always been done by me. I wonder what % the UK split would be.

So I had a visit from the Gendarme last night telling me I couldn't park here any more and would have to move. I have to admit I had noticed quite a few vans heading down the mountain that evening, so I take it he started at the top and was just working his way down. I asked were I could go that would allow me to stay till Tuesday to watch the Vuelta on Monday and he pointed me to a car park on the edge of Font Romeu, so I now parked up there with about a dozen other vans, mainly French and Spanish with the odd German and a Dutch no other Brits. In fact I haven't seen a UK van in well over a week. I took a cycle up to the finish line to see if they were any further on, but no still the same.

Funny, in our marriage painting and decorating has always been done by me. I wonder what % the UK split would be.

Just been for a 2nd walk, 1.6 miles. I didnt want to sit here watching TV even though I like the athletics and the footy. Enjoyed it but it was on the warm side.

@PeteXXX big sale on at the Regatta ship in the Wootton garden centre. Huge savings. Lots of half price and 2 for 1 deals. Well worth a visit. Me and Mrs D just got about £300 worth of gear for barely a ton.

Generally, but in the past now, I've done the prep, emulsion (walls & ceilings) & MrsPete has done the gloss.
As & when stuff needs a lick of paint now, it'll be me doing the licking..
