Just found this on a thread "elsewhere" complaining about how hard it can be for a newbie to work out what charger they need at public charging points
in other words - just because you designed it and reckon you can do it easily
does not been everyone else can
reminds me of the AgeUK clients I have that are totally confused by "just download the App" type messages
and - the Gazebo/ballroom we have just put up where the instructions were clearly made by someone who had done it several times and knew exactly how it all goes
so looked at his instructions and thought "Yup that's all clear and obvious"
rather than ask a total newbie who has never seen it before to try it
which is why my wife's son has been round helping me change some of the panels so they are on differently and are less likely to leak!

I used to write training documents, risk assessments, route directions & store/depot assessments for HGV's.
My aim was to assume zero knowledge (apart from the fact that the drivers knew how to drive a truck) of the task. Routes would start with 'Turn left (or right) out of the gate'.

Good grief. I didn't realise I was AWOL for four days. It's been busy with one thing and another. Meetings about this, that and the other, riding, Rovers at home, and today perched up a ladder painting our stairs........now at 72 that's scary stuff. 🤣
