None of the forecast rain here although it has become overcast so may get something ; as mentioned above it's now saying tomorrow for the rain.
Breakfast and coffee downed, washing up done and picked some Beetroot for cold pickling and BH has made some potato salad for tonight.

Will prob do some admin/bill paying this morning and hop on the turbo this afternoon.

Another coffee next though.

OK, not insurmountable. Ill keep my eye on progress.

My Velo Solex is taxed and insured all ready to go apart from the irritation of a pin hole in the top of the fuel tank that I need to fix -

I've moved down from the mountains and after a week of nice cool weather, well apart from the thunder/hail storm that hit just before the peloton arrived and I'm back to the heat, parked up in the hills above Benicasim and it's bloody hot, mid 30's and supposed to be even hotter tomorrow, race day. Hopefully I see some of it tomorrow and it should be a double hit as they turn left for the cat 2 then right the next time round for the gravel and cat 1.

News!

Yesterday there was a death next door

And not just a "isn;t it sad he passed away" - but a full on violent death!!!

The victims friends basically just legged it
some other witnesses had more about them and surrounded the are and shouted warning to others in the area

In the meantime - believe it or not but the vicious killer just stayed around and ripped the victim apart!

and ATE HIM!!!!

just like that!

after a bit I jumped on the wall to look over and the killer flew off!

I reckon he was a Sparrow Hawk
the pigeon was very dead - blood and gore over next door's paths
Afetr he had gone the Magpies shut up and finally flew off
the pigeons stayed away for ages before they came back

Bet the people next door got a scare when they got back from work as well!!
