Back from the pub, I enjoyed it.
Sun is shining but forecast shows thundery rain so i aren't chance a walk.

Right! I've got the Puch all back together and up and running. I test rode it down the lane and it seems fine.
Got the Velo Solex on the bench now, I'll see if I can get it running and I have a possible buyer for it locally.

The cheek of Wasps nowadays .
I've just opened the fridge and there was a wasp flying around inside. Its some 5 hours since i last opened it but the wasp seemed happy enough. No idea where it disappeared to though.
TBH that is one creature I have no qualms about killing....stingy nasty little feckers.

There is a certain member on here that would say that is mere child's play compared to his abilities.
I won't name Drago as he seems to be a nice chap.

but they were talking about national insurance to raise more money from us

I already pay basis rate tax on my private pensions & my couple of days work.
There's 'talk' of NI contributions on any earnings received after retirement age.

Its not news, as such. Some think tank full of PEONs has suggested bending over pensioners to save the country. Theyre nobodies, don't worry.

And in any case, my biggest pension is an injury award so is tax free!

My injury benefit is also tax free now.......but I wonder for how long ?

None of the forecast rain here although it has become overcast so may get something ; as mentioned above it's now saying tomorrow for the rain.
Breakfast and coffee downed,washing up done and picked some Beetroot for cold pickling and BH has made some potato salad for tonight.

Will prob do some admin/bill paying this morning and hop on the turbo this afternoon.

Another coffee next though.

In the end sorted out some tools in the shed and then went through our cd's to clear some out.

Turbo session was a bit hot and got the heart rate up (think I'm still feeling the after effects of the lurgy) but pleased I got it done; was a workout by the Alpecin team ,at one point it popped up saying imagine you're riding next to MVP .



Nice recovery meal though;
