That end bit does sound rather vague & un-thought through, doesn't it..

It does but it is the current position. I had another one pop up in my news feed this morning about pension credits :cursing: All the sources are owned by Reach plc who write a single piece of copy and publish across 500 or so titles..............all aimed at outraged of Tunbridge Wells. I'm forever blocking them!!

Good morning. Grey and threatening...................that's what happens when you upset a pensioner. Look like rain later. I've been doing chores since 7.00ish, so minor really they don't even qualify as chores more stuff in all honesty. Anyway needed doing.

Today? 09.15 a u3a IT meeting to help out a couple of folk. I'm hoping to paint my shed but the forecast says no, looking at the next two weeks it's hard to see when I can do it. Mainly today will be more stuff including fixing tubeless event. Now I love tubeless but there is one circumstance when it's a PIA. Yesterday I went to put the bike away after my shower. Front tyre was flat and there was only the tiniest speck of sealant to be seen. What happened is I punctured within literally a few yards/feet of home, probably when I dismounted to walk up to the back gate. No time for the wheel to spin and seal the hole - tubeless relies on this. Whacked up the pressure to 100psi last night, spun the wheel with great vigour but she's flat again this morning. Part of today will be a fruitless hunt for a pin prick. On a tubed bike this would be easy. GRRRRRRR.

Right, I'm off. Quick wash and walk to the club for my meeting. Please behave, and NO SMUT!

Back from a very pleasant 3 mile walk. I felt surprisingly fresh, perhaps because I didnt get a walk in yesterday. I debated adding another mile but that would mean the main roads which I only do early ie before the traffic builds up.
No rain yet, contrary to the bbc forecast.

Excellent news! Both the X7 & the No 17 omnibuses are running late so I'll be ok for my ol farts bus pass 👌

Morning
AgeUK thing this morning

only complication with today is a delivery

It is some much bigger shelving fro the shed
Apparently I need to organise it better - not even sure how she knows as she never goes in shed due to spiders
actually there is a massive one (for the UK - Aussies would not think so!) in the far corner

anyway - it is quite big and needs signing for

which is all fine except that the middle grandson has decided that he wants his cake cutting for his birthday to be ON his birthday
it was originally scheduled for tomorrow so as to not overwhelm him having a party AND cake cutting with the whole family on the same day
(he is autistic so we have to be careful - but not as careful as he makes out!!!)

anyway - delivery times are not yet mentioned on the delivery
so it could try to arrive when we are out

Well - there is news about the delivery

it will be here between 14:21 and 15:21

oddly precise times with an hours leeway!!

I wonder - if I was stopped for speeding and the PoliceOfficer asked how fast I was going
if a reply of "between 25.3 and 33.3 mph" would be helpful for them???
