Back from my walk. I mentioned t'other day that my GPS thingy seems to have the occasional blip and today was one such. I got to a point which I know is approx 3/4 mile from home. The GPS showed 1.8 done. I was happy with that as my legs were not cooperating. Got home and checked the GPS which only showed 2.2 miles....very frustrating.

what a bunch of scruffs!!!

That’s horrific! I don’t know how they could stop it though unless you stopped every person leaving at the end and asked them to show they had their tent with them. There seems to be no penalty for acting like a total tosser these days.

Apprently the organisers now cost the cleanup into thier overall costs
I read that they expected 80,000 people to attend at up to £400 for the weekend which equates to erhh uhmm a lot ^_^.
Now I've typed that i will now check those figures.

Re Creamfields.
Entrance costs.......
Between £80-120 per day per person.
4 day camping pass £425.
80,000 in attendance.
As Cilla would say....that's a lorra lorra money......possibly £32M if my quick calculation is right.

Same as Glastonbury. Lots of them are actually sold as 'Festival Tents'. Pop up cheapo things that most people can't get to un-pop back again anyway.. 🤷‍♂️

Overpowering? Even when out walking in the mornings some people go past on their way to work, etc and they have seriously overdosed on perfume. Takes your breath away.

We live less than a mile as the crow flies from a couple of Lush's manufacturing units. On the same development is the " Waste Transfer Station " aka the tip, which in turn is about a mile from the " Waste Water Treatment Plant " aka the shoot works. I like the Lush stuff, " Olive Branch " shampoo is my regular morning routine and on the rare occasions when " Fragrance " is called for a few squirts of " Pansy " 🤔
EDIT: I noticed that having spelled sh*t correctly, the forum bots have automatically changet it to " shoot "

When my daughter was little we had several that worked like that as toy things

I was the only person who could fold it back up again

I even had to go round to the neighbour's house once to fold their's up fro them - he was an engineer and I might have passed a few comments about it!
But folding them up does requires a very specific twisting motion that can only be acquired through witchcraft

British Pepper & Spice is in Hamtun, Brackmills to be exact.
I used to work opposite there and it was a nose irritating time when the wind is in the right/wrong direction!

I can fold pop-up tents.. Single handedly!
Certainly witchcraft helps.. Pixies whispering in your ears helps, too..
