Not seen one of those in an age. I remember my friend having one when I was a kid.
A lovely morning here in Andalusia 18°C when I set of at 7am to watch the sunrise over the Sierra de Los Filabres mountains, forecast to reach the mid 20's. One of the locals asked me if I was cold in my shorts and tee shirt, 18°C is a good summers day in my part of the world. It's lovely and clear up here but very hazy in the distance so not great for photos.

Morning. 7 degrees here. A dry and cool morning with rain expected mid to late afternoon.
My premium bonds app isn’t working at the moment for some reason. I’ll just have to go my walk without knowing if I’ve won £25.
It’s worked this time. All that anticipation for a big fat zero!
I think the Omaze people have problems with their system as well
they STILL haven’t contacted me to say when I can go and see the house in Cornwall

If mine was wet then I generally went right home
I seldom took her to a pub or anything as she didn't like being near other dogs
and if she smelt it was generally of "something she had rolled in"
funny thing was that she never smelt of "wet dog" much at all
possibly because she spent a lot fo time outdoors and Alsatians (GSD in metric) develop and sort of waterproof outer coat so any rain just dropped off when she shook
it was always worth being well out of range when she did shake though
But you do know the Harp near the Dee dont you ?

Oh yes - had to check - the one in Parkgate?
just never really took much notice of the name
went there once or twice
saw a group of Morris Dancers there once
Not a place I went to much - there were Ice Cream shops to go to!
When I was a kid we used to go to Parkgate
order was 3 cornets and a wafer for my Dad
one of the cornets was for the dog!

Bike looks good but, IMO, pannier detract from the overall visual impact. I would only have them on when absolutely necessary

Good morning. It's wet. That's shame as today's #1 plan was to get the second coat on the front and one side of the shed. I managed two coats on one side on Sunday. The finish is remarkably good. I'm happy to recommend this, at +/- £80 for 5 litres it isn't cheap, but it is damn good Protek Royal Exterior
Yesterday we took #1 and #3 small people to Blackpool Zoo. They loved it, walked for miles, stopped, looked, ran off, came back, looked again. #1 loves a play park and almost completely ignored all the equipment. An excellent day out. Looking at it from an adult view, we don't approve, many of the animals exhibited signs of stress or boredom. Not good but then in some instances a zoo might be a better option than extinction. Tricky one?
Today? Well then. Mrs P will be 70 on Sunday. From "I don't want to do anything" we have moved, in the space of about four days, to 36 guests plus at least four under 5. I'm desperately hoping next door but one doesn't bring her two as well. Feral doesn't cover it. She tries hard, an excellent Mum in so many ways but these two lads are just wild at 5 and 6!!!!!! We have a small cottage. If you could send some sunshine to our little bit of Lancashire this would help.
I will be running around like a proverbial blue arsed fly. The stuff I have to get.
Then there is the huge dilemma. Mrs P has specifically said, more than once, even to me, no gifts. I understand why. Time is short. This celebration is a bonus. But do I really follow her wishes? I'm thinking a great bouquet might be the answer?

Sue and I would share fish and chips then have a 99r (no sniggering a the back).
For people that dont know, Parkgate is famous for having 2 ice cream parlours next yo each other. Both make thier own ice cream and there is much debate about which is the best.
I've tried both and imo they are equally excellent.
