One problem with me stocking up (if I decided to do so) is lack of space. My 4 door freezer is quite full but my kitchen space is small.

One thing to bare in mind. If IF the worse happened, you were well stocked but neighbours, people you 'thought' were friends let alone people in general had nothing AND WORD SPREAD that you had food.......just how long do you think you would hold out?? Not very long i fear.

Crossbow comes to mind, it also has a duel purpose...........
it can supply fresh meat too.

Anything exciting happening?
Having a busy old time on the Island this summer….built a patio, visited many places, eaten too much and drunk far too much…..
Today was a walk up to the Pepperpot and Hoy’s Monument, having a chat in a local store with this young you-tuber….& tonight is a play at the Robin Hill Auditorium - Come From Away. Seen a couple of versions, looking forward to a dry evening!
Sunday is the Round the Island Randonee, which I will be attempting with an old school pal. Not really done much practice, the hills will be painful. Stick a tenner to your fave charity to make up for my pain 🤣

In 50 years I was only out of work a short time in early 80s when the LARGE company I worked for went bump overnight.

Yay it's here and I've assembled it.
Rode about 100 yards just to briefly check a few things so can't tell much apart from a hot waxed new chain sounds like a bag of nails!

I've only seen it before in photos and videos but it stunning to me.

Shake down ride tomorrow. Get position dialed in etc. The bars are adjustable for width and height so that's probably first item.

Productive day in the end ; shelving and hooks put up in cupboard, paint touched up and some bits cleaned on old Trek and an hour and a half of light suffering on Zwift .

And a bit of stretching and some yoga with Adriene on YouTube.
