I've always had a soft spot for Princess Anne. She just quietly goes about her work with little fuss.

I agree - she gets stuff done with little fuss
and apparently does stuff that helps people - again with no fuss

I reckon she is not a person to get on the wrong side of!!

I have a lot of respect for her!

Quick trip to my local John Lewis to try out some armchairs - found one that was very comfortable, sat in it for ages, I should've taken a flask of tea and some Rich Tea biscuits for a full test drive. I am just going through the pros and cons before I order it:

Pro: very comfortable
Con: the cat will commandeer it
Pro: fits in with existing furniture
Con: the cat will commandeer it
Pro: perfect size for the space - preserves the feng shui of the room
Con: the cat will definitely commandeer it

Bright and blustery here at the moment. I may or may not chance another walk.

I tried some Quorn mince with my pasta just now as I’ve gone off meat for some reason. The smell and texture gives me the boak!

Have to say I was quite impressed.

OK - something weird

Yesterday I got an email from Virgin Media saying that there was a problems with out TV box
OOOOK - possible
gave the right member ship numbers and stuff and said I needed to click on a link
and the link seems to be valid when I hover over it

BUT when I log onto the web site without using links from emails
then there is no mention of a problem

so I'm a bit dubious

and today I got an email with the subject

NEGATIVE

which is strange
turns out to be from the Mersey Gateway bridge saying that my Local User Discount has failed a random test
which is strange as the requirement are easy to check on

AND - the counsel website has been down all day - bridge is a separate company but it does seem strange


so I am wondering what is going on!

Buy 2 then you can have one each……although knowing cat logic, it will still be your one he/she wants. 🐱

The last episode in the 7 up series will be only Spon. I am catching up on the entire series I'm on episode 3, they are 21. I love the first episode when the narrator said they were taken to an adventure playground which was In fact just a bombed out area.

Decision made.
I am going to walk to the pharmacy to get something for my poor throat. I will call at the Spar/post office on the way back.
Its not a pleasant walk throgh the estates and back via the park but will give me the best part of 2 miles.

Be very aware, it looks like a scam to me.

I think its around 17th September I may be wrong though. They are the same age as me. I will def be watching the last one
