Right I'm back

been to the Mersey Gateway Bridge walk in centre
The email I had from them said my account was going to be downgraded as they had been unable to verify that I was entitled to a local user discount

I was very unsure that the email was genuine
plus - it wanted me to scan my vehicel documentation, council tax bill and a recent document like a bank statement
and Email them to them

WHAT!!
email - is one of the most insecure ways to send soemthing - it was designed in the days when everyone on the Internet was a mate of yours and you could trust them

and has only been fiddled with since

anyway - got there and there was a queue - BIG queue - of people who had had the same email

lots fo annoyed people

at least they did send a manager down to explain

sounds like a cock up after they got Equifax to check things and didn;t realise how many emails they were sending out
and didn;t staff the walk-in centre either!!

I just can't go for a walk in the rain!

I'm a scouser so brick 'ard me, lah (not really. I can walk in light rain. I didnt enjoy cycling in any rain)
Back now. Managed a tad over 2 miles AND AND AND it didnt rain!! It threatened but nothing happened.
Sore throat!!
I spoke to the chemist. He was very thorough with his questions** and in the end said Strepsils were as good as anything.
** he asked me if my tonsils had white spots and he was surprised when I told him I was born without tonsils......it gave me lots of trouble as a kid.

Quick trip to my local John Lewis to try out some armchairs - found one that was very comfortable, sat in it for ages, I should've taken a flask of tea and some Rich Tea biscuits for a full test drive. I am just going through the pros and cons before I order it:

Pro: very comfortable
Con: the cat will commandeer it
Pro: fits in with existing furniture
Con: the cat will commandeer it
Pro: perfect size for the space - preserves the feng shui of the room
Con: the cat will definitely commandeer it

Pick up cat. Drop on floor. Rinse and repeat.

Molly's dog groomer, who is a very nice woman, is running the Dragon Back Race, from Conwy to Cardiff, a distance of 220 miles over 6 days I think.
I am following her on the website.
This will be a fantastic achievement and I am sure she will do it as she is a very determined person.
Personally, I would struggle to run just 1 mile as I have never been a runner.
