Good afternoon from Tesco. It's a lovely autumn afternoon but quite close. I've done the shop and I'm waiting for the car valet people to finish off.

Just to clear things up. Dark green that shimmers in sun and changes through various shades to black is much faster than red.........

I had a ride planned but got a truly crippling attack of Plantar fasciitis just as I went to bed. Literally had to push myself across the floor and climb the stairs backwards........on my bum!!! All OK now apart from a warm sensation. Ride plans cancelled.

Later I'll make runner bean and tomato chutney. New recipe as I have a surplus of both.

Lovely morning outside. Lazy coffee in bed morning followed by a run with the cargo bike to get the week’s groceries.

I keep wondering when the holiday ends and I get called asking why I’m not in the office…

Love the 22 spot ladybird. I like ladybirds but all we ever get is the Harlequin invader which are all over my allotment. 😥

Its called Dead Mans Fingers.
I am told there is a smaller relative called Dead Molls Fingers.

Tomorrow will be in Cambridge for a Glaucoma check-up and then some mooching about before heading to the Cambridge Blue for a couple of beers.

I have glaucoma but they cant decide what the next step is until I've had my cataracts sorted......a phone call this morning tells me that will be 4 weeks(ish).

I enjoyed a 3 mile walk. Strange weather. Started with my lightweight waterproof on, had some showers which cleared up and I ended up carrying the jacket.
I'm munching on some mac/cheese pasta now.
