We made our own fun. Riding our bikes, climbing cliffs, putting .303 rounds the vice my dads shed and setting them off with a hammer.

Couldn't settle for a snooze due to my back so have cut what remains of the grass. Left the mower on a longish setting.
I got suspended for putting a 2:2 bullet in a vice and shooting a hole through the art room roof!

I got suspended for fighting.
Apparently I was supposed to take a kicking and then go and inform a teacher afterwards. Sod that.

I was up and out early this morning 7am, to try and beat the heat. It was quite pleasant at around 18°C and I had a wander round Granada. I was hoping to see the Alhambra while I was here but when I tried to buy tickets their was none available till November as they limit daily entry. Well never mind I'll might be back this way again in mid February, if the weathers not to bad I'll try then. It's now in the high 30's and I'm lying on the lounger in the shade trying to keep cool. I'm heading north tomorrow to try and get away from this heat.

I'm not at all religious but I have to admit in both Spain and Portugal their religious buildings are impressive. They are still recovering from a series of earthquakes they had in the Granada region in August.

When I was a first year apprentice engineer ( aged 15) we made a bomb by hammering the lid on a marvel milk can. Turning it up side down, made hole near the bottom filled it full acetylene gas and ignited by using the longest flame from the torch.
It blew a hole in training school roof. We got a bit of a bollock!ng.
We had plenty of fun with weedkiller and sugar bombs when I was a kid, we completely destroyed my Fathers rockery!

crappy nights sleep if you can call it that, went to bed at 10, still awake at 1am
and then at 2 followed by 3 4 5 6......ect
