Called into Lakenheath on the way home yesterday afternoon...
Excellent timing as a squadron (? Collective name) of F35's arrived and played with each other for ½hr.. 👌

Is unleavened? Heresy! 😉.
Speaking of loaves, I made ( or rather Mr Panasonic did ) a wholemeal loaf yesterday, loaded up the machine and headed off to collect granddaughter from school. I was sitting on the bus reading my book when I suddenly realised that I had forgotten to add sugar. The resulting loaf was a bit brick like but still tasty.

I love my Panasonic. I had a morphy Richards before and it was rubbish.

Nights are drawing in, time to do the annual battery check on the bike - HP2s still going strong, I think they will outlast me! Now the bike is upgraded from single speed to 3 speed Sturmey Archer I am not sure the front light will be able to keep up with my blistering pace in top gear

One of our funniest moments was when our daughter entrusted us with the care of her son so she could go on her first night out with friends since becoming a mum. He was handed over complete with a written list of how to look after a baby🤔. " That's great darling, your mum and I wouldn't have had a clue without this." It took a few moments for the penny to drop

Ah, yes. How to be a parent.........from our eldest, who was bloody hard work. It's stopped now but we used to a written guide on how to look after #2 small person when she comes on a Monday. That's stopped now.

Her Mum once handed over her bag with the words "her snacks are in the front pocket" Paul responded "we don't do snacks" She was very taken aback.

Yes, of course we give our small people treats, lots when it's deserved, but we don't want them expecting Nana and Granddad to hand out snacks, sweets etc. We do treats!!! 🤣 That's what Granddads do.
