Morning. I had another headache last night so went to bed before 9pm. Didn’t really sleep until much later but at least I was resting.

A mostly dry but dull morning and showers this afternoon.

Good morning from a grey Dorset. Took " Graham " my Brommie out for a shakedown yesterday to check the brakes and gearing after fitting new " mid rise " bars from Josef Kuosac, and the new cabling that the bar change entailed. A much more natural ( for me ) riding position, with the previous bars it felt like I was tipping forward over the bars, with the new ones I'm more upright. A slight reluctance to drop into the lower gear on the derailleurs, but that's down to me using an 11 speed instead of an 8 speed chain.
Today Mrs Tkk visiting the hairdressers, I thought that women's hairdressing was expensive, then I found out how much the local dog groomers charge 😳

Morning all.
A heavy sleep which i think I'm still having .
Its cool but no rain till lunchtime so I will get a walk in mid morning.
One of those 'no plans' days.
My neighbour (similar age and also lost his wife) came over to watch 70up last night as he has no TV. So in between bouts of watching we were both reminiscing about the 'old days' which was interesting and funny in parts.

Start with about 1/4 rye flour to 3/4 bread flour and adjust to taste, the more rye you add the denser and heavier your bread will be but also tastier.

You are right. It does taste nice

Dogs walked. For a change took a loop down into Wootton where we dont go so often so the boys wer being a pain sniffing everything and Geddy-ten-bladders marked the territory every three feet.

Chilly, only 10 Celsiuses, but still in shorts.

Good morning all from a damp and rainy Bayonne.
We are on the 10.13 TGV to Paris, Gard du Nord, and then the 16.30 Eurostar to London.
It's been a good 5 days away, but I'll be glad to get home for a decent cup of tea.
It's hard to find a good cup of coffee also, it's all a bit weak over here.
