Good morning. Wet! Today is #2SP's birthday party. She has been vomiting all night and Dad has been up all night caring for her. Both are now in bed and the party/family gathering postponed till tomorrow.

This works well for us as we're in Manchester tomorrow to see Jonathan Pie at The Lowry.

Today's tasks are now to check all light mounts for my bikes, buy new shoes, go to gym. I think my laptop is, perhaps has, about to die. If it starts up tonight serious research for a new one is important. I'm leaning towards a Chromebook.

Its surprising what a good shower, a shave and a (wait for it you lot) a splash of aftershave can do for a man (and some women i suppose).
Sat down to a cooked breackie now.

I'm wondering what your aftershave is 🤔. Good old Henry Coopers Brut? Aramis? Y'front St Drago?
My ideal fragrance would have an overnote of freshly laid tarmac with undernotes of Mrs Darlingtons Mint Sauce.
