Had a parish council meeting today to discuss various bits. Our chairman is knocking on and has health issues, and it was informally agreed that if he steps down I would be voted as his replacement if I were willing to stand. Gulp!

Afternoon all . It’s been nice day here in Coventry . Havnt done much today other than take the daughter to another job interview, which took a lot longer than was expected, hopefully this is a good sign .
With all this talk of Anglesey, what’s the best place on the island to go for a day out ? We are going to Llandudno for for a few days around my birthday in early November and where thinking of visiting the island ( if the weather is ok of course ) .

And yes I do know going to north wales in November is not the most sensible decision we have ever made . 😂😀

I know this has been covered
but I alwasy like Beaumaris - nice cafes and walks along the front
and a castle - if it is open - but you can see the outside anyway
supposed to be one of the most perfectly built castles as it was on level gorund and no rocks or anything got in the way so they could do it better
and it was quite late in that castle building period so they had leant things

you can then go further on to the far end of that bit of the island (Penmon point???)
you used to be able to park the car and walk to the Point and you can see over the sound to Puffin Island

you can also get boat trips to the island - but they will probably have stopped by then!!

No money needed to change hands. He was always in prime position for a number of reasons.

1) He is under retirement age .
2) He can get to the meeting without a Zimmer frame or needing the community transport.
3) He won’t miss meetings because he has be at the dementia clinic.
