I too picked up a nice tweed jacket today, a herringbone pattered Jeff Banks. Jackets in a 52R that are cut with a proper shape instead of just being tailored for a fat bloke are rare so I got my change purse out and bought it.

Quite chuffed with myself.

Today I completed a 6.73 mile hill walk with 1257' of ascent/descent.

My longest walk since early 2025 and far & away the biggest elevation change since the same period.

I am just under 1 year of my post-chemo recovery period out of a notional 2 years.

The stat's are very low to what I could easily do pre-diagnoses but are a huge step in the right direction.
