Well I hummed and hawed about it but in the end I decided to go to A Coruna, I've been wanting to visit it for a while now and it was so close, it would have been stupid not to go. I'm parked on the outskirts and rode into the city and along the promenade to the Tower of Hercules, then on to the sculpture garden and on the way back took a detour to the Battery on Mount San Pedro. Which was home to a battery of rather large Vickers guns, 2 15inch guns and just over 17m in length, they could fire a 1 ton shell 38km.
The main city beach, the little black dots are surfer's.
