Good morning all. A mild start to the day here 17⁰ with the possibility of some rain this afternoon.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10am.
Then I'll be out and about on the bike.
I have a flu jab booked at a local pharmacy at 11.30, then I'm off up to the library to return a couple of books. Call in at the Vets to put a couple of insurance claim forms in so I get something back for the fees I've paid out in the last few weeks.
The carpet in the front room will get a going over this afternoon, it's pretty grubby, so another busy day.

Good morning, crom a dry dark Dorset. I wimped out and caught the bus to Wimborne yesterday, surprisingly humid and not as cold as it looked. Today is bin day and walking group. It's also my elder brother's 81st birthday. No collecting granddaughter today, that's been shifted to tomorrow which gives me more time to prepare my " meals on wheels " service 😁

Once breakfast has happened, I have a room to reorganise. I painted the walls yesterday (boring Magnolia) & want to put stuff in different places.
I got rid of a small wardrobe on Marketplace so have a bit more floor space to swing a cat in (if I had one, which I don't)

We are all different but one of my eyes was very light sensitive for about three months.

I was surprised by the actual physical pain when the light first hit them. I went for a stroll on Sunday and wore sunglasses plus a peaked cap which helped.

I went out with a welsh lass. She was a good looking lass, a saucy minx.

However, I suspect she didnt like me much. All the welsh she'd taught me was hokum. When I thought I was saying "good morning" I was actually saying "shut your mouth", for example. No wonder I was so popular on Anglesey.

Someone recently showed me before and after photos of thier carpet after hiring a cheap** carpet cleaner. Bearing in mind they have 2 young children it was amazing.
** by cheap i mean the ones you can hire on the High Street.

Morning all :hello:

Going to spend another hour, or so, familiarising myself with the more intricate controls on the Ford Kuga. It's like driving a computer! Well impressed with it so far, though. Very smooth, quiet and comfortable.

As teenagers on holiday in Wales myself and a mate tapped off with 2 welsh girls. I got the frumpy one who's name was Nan Blodwyn Hughes.......strange how that has stayed in my mind.
