Morning all.
'Tis wet here but due to be a sunny day.
I am being chauffeur driven to Aldi at 10 and then the day is mine plus my eye drops

Someone recently showed me before and after photos of thier carpet after hiring a cheap** carpet cleaner. Bearing in mind they have 2 young children it was amazing.
** by cheap i mean the ones you can hire on the High Street.

We hired one on the high street some years ago, and it kept tripping the fuse box. That didn't instill be with confidence, so back it went for a refund.

We manage to kill most houseplants but the rubber plant we have is doing really well 🤞
It's still unfurling new leaves 😎

Bonjour.
SiL asked me to go to France with her in the next few weeks as she is selling her house there after the death of her husband and she needs an interpreter for the paperwork.
Of course I will help her and it will also give me the chance to re supply on Muscat wine ( an aperitif you can't get here) and French mayonnaise .

September was a lousy month on the weather front and October not much better.

Not much planned today. Hurt knee whilst strimming so no gym for me.

Yes and very nice it was.

Grey and windy here but still dry (so far).

Had breakfast and two coffees and watched a bit of You Tube with the coffees.

Feel a little achey this morning after the jab but otherwise ok so will do a bit of pottering in the garden if it stays dry and the shed needs a tidying again after a lot of fettling recently.

It's gone dark here and the rain is persisting it down.
I have pumped up the tyres on my winter bike, which is in reality my Audax bike with mudguards fitted. I fear i might get a bit damp when I go out in half an hour.🌧🌨
