Several minor errors.

Time does not depend on where you are im space, it is c the universal constant, but rather upon your velocity through space.

Also Uranus's axial tilt is 98°, in essence putting it on its side so it kind of rolls round its orbit like a bowing ball. A year is easy enough to determine, but a day is harder to establish as the sun doesnt rise or set in the usual sense.

But other than that its pretty good.

I was under the impression that time in space is completely irrelevant because there is no one to measure it.
1 year, 10 years or a million years means nothing in the cosmos.
It is only us, as humans on this planet who have the need to measure it for our own purposes.

AFAIK Einstein's theorems don't need an observer for time to pass.

I could well be wrong as I am more of a lover than a physics genius.

Grey but dry here.

Knee still hurts so no gym - again!

Sorted 2 new Fixed Rate ISA's. 5 years at 5.25%. Seems like a good deal.

Ordered some heating oil at 115p per litre. Was 58p per litre back in January! And we moan about electricity price rises!

Arranged for septic tank's 2 yearly clean.

Exciting mundanity - I guess that is an oxymoron.

Afternoon doss with Kindle beckons...

Have a happy and productive (or maybe not) rest of the day, all.

I meant to ask......how do you hurt your knee by strimming?

Do you (or MrsD) wear specs ? If so, did you/she need a new prescription ?
If so, how long did you/she wait before ordering them ?

I will definitely need new as vision has changed. Too early to tell as things are still slightly foggy but I can now read clearly without specs. Distance wise 'seems' the same with or without specs but its difficult to be certain because, as i say, its still slightly foggy.

I watched a video on YouTube last night by a consultant ophthalmologist. 5 things they don't tell you before a cataract operation.

One was that the new lense will be great for distance vision but that you will almost certainly need glasses for close up vision.

She had a post removed at the same time as Numbnuts , Dave 7 and I did . I suspect she is just having a few days away from the forum .
It’s very easy to take it personally, I know I do . I have lost count of the amount of times over the years I’ve flounced out of forums vowing never to return. I normally used to last a week before going back .😂😀

I tried to ask the Mods to explain just what they could possibly have found wrong with the deleted post but there was no way to do that, quite annoying really.
