Morning all :hello:

Today we shall take the train to Dunster, walk back to Blue Anchor to get the train back to Williton and then go for the carvery at the Windmill Inn. That should keep the BiL occupied for a while before he goes home this afternoon.

Why cant you act as a christian and insist he stays for a week ?

Considerable wetness overnight.

Too much tea before bed?

Oh, Morning Mr Hippy.

Bright, sunny and chilly here this morning; garden looks a bit damp so presume there was some rain overnight.

Breakfast and one coffee consumed and washing up done.

Bit of tidying up this morning and putting stuff back in the cupboard we extended as we are not going to board it all out now as it seems a waste of cash really, otherwise might get a quick Zwift session in before watching the NFL games .

Good morning. It was dark when I got up. My watch was out of battery. It was mild. Staggered downstairs to discover it was 06.35, I went to bed a 21.25 last night. Nine hours sleep with only one pee stop! Stuck my head out of the back door to discover it's not mild, the CH has been on all night. Expensive but cosy.

Today? Well I'm mentally reinvigorated. I had a really shi!t time last weekend and early part of last week. Oddly this seems to have done me a lot of good. Yesterday and again today for the first time in ages I feel ready to do stuff. Next up is morning stretches, then two or three hours on the allotment preparing for winter. I'll plant the shallots and garlic if there's time. #2SP is coming for a sleepover so we will bob down to Manchester to collect her about 3.00pm.

I read a report in the Independent (once a quality paper) earlier of the things the NHS had to extract from patients bottoms. This was from 2022 data. These included a wallpaper scraper, tree branch, coat hanger, hard boiled egg, bank card, TV remote and razor blades  I'll leave you all to Google the full list!!!!!! You gotta wonder about the folk who did this and the "journalist" who requested the data under the Freedom of Information Act. An utter waste of time and effort for some poor NHS admin person.
