Not much budget talk on here so it must be reckoned to definitely have been a damp squib!

The dropping of the reduced £12000 ISA limit for under 65's is very good news - seemed very mean to me. Especially as we have all been encouraged to save for old age across the years.

As you know, I will be 80 in a few months.......please advise when I should start saving for my old age.

They do some cracking oatcakes, a few of the cafes do an breakfast wrap with them or a full English and oatcake, not to be missed when in the area.

So back home now, a bit of a mixed bunch, got some of what I wanted but the rest was not in stock in the shop so had to order it to be delivered, at least it's free delivery and the best part the polo's I wanted had been reduced so I got 4 and they were less than the 2 I was going to get. Also found a new to me cafe and had a very nice Pastrami toastie with pickle, mustard and cheese, reminded me a bit of a Reuben.
