Watch out for those dingos!

Heh heh!
The tiny ferry (more like the IOW Chain link than the red funnel!) had a safety video warning how to behave near them….our chirpy tour guide sort of repeated them…but on a long and fabulous day, we saw one next to our bus, one about 100m away and one sleeping in the road near the beach: there were more plastic ones on sale in the box on the ferry 😆

The swim at Lake Mackenzie was spectacular. The sun finally came out, the water is fresh….just an amazing watery oasis in the sand island chock-full of trees!

Bike washed, still on a hosepipe ban so my secret weapon was a cordless jet wash with a bucket of hot water.

Next, cutting front and rear lawns. Hopefully last cut of the year.

Dry but a bit cloudy here.

Porridge and two coffees consumed and washing up done.

Another quiet day here might do either some gardening or fettling but may just do neither and just do some reading same as yesterday.

Actually started clearing the leaf mould bin (wire cage really) out and seived the fine stuff out and spread some rougher stuff on the borders, was still pretty dry at the bottom so will have to clear it out properly when we start harvesting more leaves.

Annoying weather as it was alternating between sunny and warm then showers, finished as it was raining steadily but now sunny again.

Started the day with a crappy migraine. Sumatriptin inhaler sorted it but I now feel completely zonked by way of drug side-effect.

Weather iffy, very gloomy & damp.

All plans (walk and garden leaf clearing) scuppered.

Hope you are all having a better day than me!
