The Retirement Thread

[Drago]

Well, one of the kinkier ones!

[Paulus]

Easy. Bee Bumble and the Stingers, did Nut Rocker.

And another called Bumble Boogie.

[Drago]

Being a musician and a student kf 60s and 70s pop and rock that was an easy spot.

I impressed someone themother day with my knowledge of the excellent Johnny Kidd and the Pirates.

Give the man a coconut !!

[Drago]

Got a slight headache so no more Nescafe for me today.

Niegalla has that restraining order against me, but perhaps Jennifer Lawrence would pop round and give me a head massage, if shes not too busy?

[Elybazza61]

Cloudy here and looks like it'll be the same all day.

Had Porridge and coffee and will be out on the Fairlight in a bit as it's not been ridden for a while.

Once back will get stuff together for the week-end away.

After nearly 2 months (yes, it's been that long) I received a phone call from the Coroner that she can release the final death certificate so an appointment can be made with the Registrar to record MrsPete's passing.
Legally, this has to be done within 5 calendar days. There are only 2 appointments available within this time frame, Friday at 11:00 or 11:30, neither of which I can make, plus daughter is in Slovakia so that's ruled out, too.
More phone calls with AI assistance and eventually a human, I can, apparently, book for next Tuesday 🫰

Its a difficult time and my thoughts are with you.
A problem i had was with Sue's ISA. We have had the same shared accounts but separate ISAs (same bank) for 50+ years. Trying to transfer her ISA to our joint bank account was not easy.
I know they have to cross all Ts and dot all Is but they knew us by face and I still had to jump through hoops at a time when you least want fresh problems.

Lunch, then off out visiting.

@PeteXXX best of luck my friend. When all this shizzle is over we'll have to get together for a walk of bike ride.

[welsh dragon]

Ita going quite dark here. We could be in for heavy rain

In the Greyhound, Beaminster...

Marginally better than being in a greyhound named Beaminster.

Well, one of the kinkier ones!

One man's perversion is another man's pleasure but I don't judge those who wish to or do pleasure other men.

Night out in Mcr last night at a gig. Took the tram then a bus to the gig and did the same in reverse after the show finished at 10.30. Back home at 11.30pm and that included stopping for petrol. God bless the transport pass!!
Out on the fixie to the shops this am. Longer way round but the sun shone and temp was cool. Called at a bike shop for new bar tape and then back home

[Dirk]

Now in the New Inn,Eype...
