My saddlebag is definitely bigger than that. I can get a tube, tyre levers, repair kit, emergency money and a flapjack in mine. Oh, tiny toolkit too. Naturally, the flapjack bit is the supremely important bit Hubs' roadie has SPDs, a chap commented on how 'wrong' it was to have SPDs on a roadie. Hubs was somewhat Anglo Saxon in his reply.

I have SPDs on my road bike (aka touring bike) - no saddle bag but you can see my day-ride luggage in my avatar - I will even forsake the rack bag for a single pannier!
