Do my legs about once a week. 'Her indoors' likes when they are just done and very smooth however she doesn't like when they go stubbley:ohmy:

Permanently smooth. The little blighters have been cropped so often, they have given up the ghost.

Hairy. I'm getting more into cycle sport now so it's only a matter of time before I conform and shave 'em. I still see myself as a bit of an outsider since I came to road cycling late, I think it'll happen if and when I start racing (other than TTs).

Ive done mine for longer than I can remember.

THOUGH, i am giving them a week of not shaving as i do mine once a week usually - so in effect am missing a week to let them grow a bit as I feel this is better for the general aspect of letting the area go without shaving, a slight respite.

I shaved for the last 3 years, but this summer I have not. Probably, because I am now commuting with the bike on the train and feel a little bit more self conscious if in addition to lycra, the other commuters were also looking at shaved legs. I have noticed that the spare seat next to me is usually the last one to be filled - I am not that ugly!

It's OK if you have fair hair but if you have dark hair shaving is best as I don't think it looks good in lycra... I know some people who have FANTASTIC legs (the husband is included in that category!)...;)
