I'd dispute "most useless". What about, for example, "Remember remember the 9th of September/Gunpowder treason and plot"

Flemings left hand rule...or was it right hand rule?

I also remeber the phrase 'Richard of York got buggered in Venice', but I haven't the faintest idea what I'm supposed to interpret that as.

Ah, but "fall" was the original, English word and it survived in Britain in some dialects until this century.

Really? The yokels all stopped saying it 9 years ago?

Rainbows. And it's 'gave battle in vain', as I'm sure you well know...;)

Over the Hill, how about you always look forward to summer - that's the way the clock go? (unless you are a hayfever sufferer with a Christmas fetish)

There's a con with this clocks changing lark: they make the nights earlier two months before the shortest day but only make the days longer three months after. So I reckon the clocks should change at the end of February.

+1
It could've been light after work for three weeks already ;)

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. The colours of the rainbow and I think that is a much better phrase than the usual one:laugh:.

Fleming - left hand for electric motors

Right hand for the torque vector from electric current in a solenoid.

Remember what they're for, but buggered if I can remember how to apply them:wacko:
