Well for a start Schuey was racing Formula 1 for 4 years after the old stig was killed off and the new one took over... in the credits he was listed as a guest star and Clarkson said at the end, "I am not sure he is the stig".

The last stig was a relative unknown, even if Michael had the spare time in between the work he does at Ferrari alongside spending more time with the family, do you honestly think they could afford Schumacher?

Besides, I think Mansells and Lewis Hamiltons times in the suzuki leana faster than the stigs lap times? Not Schumacher then is it?

I watched the lap with my flatmates and commented that there was only one black FXX which "belonged" to Schumacher. Also very surprised that Ferrari let it leave Italy and appear on a TV show.

He clearly is not the regular Stig, but it was quite a good idea. Shame that they can't give him an F1 driver's time.

He isnt the only owner of one, there are a few of them, but they are all kept in Italy. I agree, as I said he is probably the only one that would be allowed to drive an FXX on TV which is why they came up with the stunt, also to publicise the new season.
