I haven't read the rest of the thread, sorry. But, they're like crawling round like flies on shoot round here, at the mo'. I told them I don't speak Norwegian in a Pakistani/Welsh accent.
Other than here, I doubt many people speak Norwegian in a Welsh accent.

Ahh... sjømannskirken (the seaman's church) - a refuge for Norwegians found in all corners of the world. Much like a British embassy in days of yore, except for the brown cheese and pickled herring.

Sadly that is true.
If a JW wants to leave and decides to just "drift away" then that is acceptable and they can still speak to her. However, if he/she states that she is "leaving" then it is viewed as apostate and not one of them will speak to her..........and that includes the family.

Not true..............they can have organ transplants..........that is an individual choice.

We have an old JW couple who are neighbours. Lovely people who are now quite infirm so we and other neighbours give them a hand. Never had a JW calling although they are often around visiting out JW neighbours. I guess they don't doorstep where they live?
