True. My vistalite VL300 predates the article though, I still use that as a single rear light.

The front version of my vistalite is dim and green, you couldn't get white LEDs 25 years ago.

I will not rise to the bait, of course i have rightamount of lights in both directions and reflectives etc and i find it a bit insulting to assume i would be so dumb
