I think it has the air of 'flasher mac' about it.

And designed by Timothy Everest??? Made up name, for sure.

I was looking to buy one of those many years ago but couldn't find one big enough to fit. WW1 soldiers must have been a lot smaller then I am. In the end I got an American WW2 one, it was a little on the big side but it was also only about £30. The British ones were about £50.

I've always fancied a genuine WWII bomber jacket - the sheepskin ones. Never found one though.

Ihave a real WW2 one. I remember, as a kid, when my Dad bought it back in the 70's. I thought it was naff then but then they became a bit fashionable in the late 80's and I wanted it. Dad had cut the arms off it by then so it became a tanktop!

Here for rides.
Timothy Everest is a high class bespoke tailor of some repute, long standing, and an MBE. You'll be telling me you think Tommy Nutter is a spoof next.

Do you chaps not have Google?

Any number of London stores carry jackets costing far in excess of £1000 let alone a measly €1000. We don't all wear army surplus donkey jackets and pakkamacs you know.

Flicking through a colour supplement the other day, just before chucking it in the skip, we spotted a £1600 cardigan.

Words failed us, albeit briefly. Then we came up with several words about it.

It was just a little, thin, waist length cardigan. You can get them in M and S for £16.

Has anyone mentioned the Rapha Coffee Machine yet?
