Very pleasant here today. 13-14C and sunny for all my ride this afternoon - shorts and short sleeves, and comfortable.

Well it was ok here too. No crazy wind, no rain and no low, annoying sun either! It wasn't that warm though, yet they were out in their flip flops, tea shirts and of course their cargo shorts!!

Beautiful sun here.
Dafs and magnolia have been and gone; tulips and bluebells are out.
Trees and hedges have suddenly leapt into 'leaf', and we've had our first Sunday roast out on the patio table (lamb, Easter Day).

It fills me with joy, until I remember the lawn needs another mow. Drat.

Mild here, overcast, but warm enough to have the back door open. Forecast is to brighten pm, although I'd like some rain for my tomatoes and to test my new garage roof.

I've just been requisitioned to stick a mates boat in the water, so looks like I'll get a few days out on that this year.

An absolutely hideous wind here today! It was so strong that at one point I felt the need to grab hold of and hold onto a traffic parking information pole! I must've held on for a good 30 seconds while this evil cyclone was happening!! Not only that, but a very low blinding sun made it even more horrendous!!

Alongside the Thames and it's started raining. Here for outdoor, non bike, project.
Awaiting news of the wet weather plan. Knowing that getting wet will be the only one they've got.

Torrential rain, when leaving work at 14:00
Public/Ambo-crews/staff all waiting for it to abate slightly before going out
Then, by the time I got home, (4 miles, if it was a straight line), everything was bone-dry

Now, at home, it's torrential again, with added thunder & lightning

I just got back in time to avoid the worst of the torrential rain, thunder, lightning, and as I ran from Garage to apartment, hailstones up to 2cm across. The sky went from sunny to dark grey in a few minutes, as it tends to do around here.

Now there's hailstones battering the window: normally I don't have that but the stones are hitting the parapet of the light well and bouncing down: I had to lob my boots inside and jump in after them because the hailstones were ricocheting inside; it looked like someone had dropped a bag of marbles.
