It is the month of May, in the year of our lord two thousand and twenty three. As I post, the heavens have opened, the wind is howling and I'm having to wear tweed gloves, knee length fine woolen socks and scarf etc to brave the elements I'm soon to endure. My lord, why has thou'st forsaken me?!🧐😔

In current theological thinking it is generally accepted that it is we who have forsaken God.

Sunny here!

S E Lakes - another drab day ranging from fairly wet to abso****inglutely wet.

Dreadful weather for most of the year thus far.

Second interview today. Naturally it pished it down with rain when I wanted to leave. Also, I really should have looked more carefully for bike parking, because my bike got soaked about 20m from the covered parking space...

Torrential rain driving in through the Office Window. And deffo enough surface water on the car-park to Canoe across. Think I’ll stay in today and push some post-it-notes around my desk a bit……

Can’t be much wet-stuff left in the World ?
