It's raining in Rottenburg, finally.

Oppressingly warm by day. Think 40 hairdryers pointed at you; with the Desert wind. And liquid is genuinely at a premium - and can’t be had often enough……

So much so - ‘outside’ is just best avoided in any long spurts between 10am and 6pm.

Most people retreat indoors to shows, attractions, restaurants, shopping malls etc

I can 100% see the appeal of your beautiful UK sunrises (though I would never get up in time to experience them myself), but I can 0% see the appeal of that... Aaargh!!!

Yeah, I got the invite, but I will have to pass on this one!

I will be heading back down to Devon instead, where (hopefully!) I will be experiencing temperatures of a more bearable 20-25 C.

Anyway only thing I'd go to Vegas for would be a Raiders game at the Alliegiant stadium.
