The totally incompetent Royal Mail!

We had post today for number 2 , tempted to put it back in local postbox and let them have another try .

I'd go as far to say they are worse than Evri!!

We had a great postman for years, he's gone to another area, now we have 3.
Yes, they are worse than Evri, the Evri delivery guy here is actually quite good.
The woman before him was excellent, knew everybody.
Now, I have run after the 3 local posties several times asking to get my parcels left on my veranda, I have put my preference on the Royal mail app, they still take them back to the depot!

Had email notification from supplier that my live plants were being shipped day 1. Day 2 they were delivered as per timeslot I'd been advised by Royal Mail, all good. And those plants were in the ground on day 2 as well.

While my plants went back to the depot - said live plants on the box!
I asked my next door neighbour to keep an eye for the postman, she saw him, he wasn't even going to redeliver, said the parcel was still in the van - maybe.
Got my plants 3 days later, half dead!
I don't buy plants online anymore if they use Royal Mail.

Never had problems with RM, only occasionally when new people were covering for our usual one.

Amazon on the other hand, are always leaving boxes outside our porch, in full view of passers by. The front door is always open and we are always in. Even if we're out, the outer porch is always open so there's no excuse

You're very unlucky. I get stuff sent to me by RM International and it always, without exception, get to me in about 7-10 days.

I've no issues.

We're talking Blackburn to Great Harwood here, which is a mere 5, not thousands of miles!🧐
