I know from Shed and Buried that those Fergies sith rhe gold paint are fairly rare.

They were probably only made for about 18 months before the merger with Massey-Harris and the change of colour scheme.

The earliest red MF35s had the same Standard engine (iin petrol/paraffin and diesel form) for a period before they started using the more familiar 3 cylinder Perkins as the Standard diesel wasn't really a success (especially on cold mornings!).
