So here's a dumb idea (and I'm sure it's been done before); Cycle the compass points of the UK mainland:

Most Southerly - Lizard Point
Most Easterly - Ness Point, Lowestoft
Most Westerly - Ardnamurchan Point
Most Northerly - Dunnet Head

Something like 1, 333 miles, 120 hrs which at 8 hours per day is 15 days hard riding ~90 miles/day.
At least it's a change from LEJOG.

If I could save enough money for the return train ticket from Thurso to Deal I might consider it....

PS: Note to self - must drink less Gin late at night....
surely the start and end point would have to be Haltwhistle
You can detour via Haltwhistle on the way, only adds about 10 miles.

You are missig a trick by confining your thinking to two dimensions!

You should think three dimensionally and include Holme Fen and (depending whether you think life is defined by bicycles, or bicycles are but an aid to appreciating life) Great Dunn Fell or Ben Nevis.
