Why must the term 'Great Britain' dissappear if Scotland splits off? AS you said it is a Geographical term. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland would be just that. All it would mean is the Northern portion of Great Britain is not part of the United Kingdom.
I'm sure Alec Salmond will still find reasons to scape goat Westminster for all his political failings whether they are devolved or not.
How can we call ourselves Great Britain if "we" does not include all of Great Britain.
Same as we cannot call ourselves "Great Britain and Ireland" as we used to. So we would be Southern Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Come to think of it at the Olympics why are we not "Team UK"
