I used lakes for the A pillar trim. They’re poor for communication and a little pricey however the speed of postage and quality of packaging was second to none.

With regards to the post above, concerning the XC70

This is the other pair, l walked back that way with the Dog
I’ll presume both are owned by the same family, as they’re always parked there

Plus, a couple of hundred yards’ before l got to them, another (‘chocolate brown’) XC70 pulled out of the carpark on King Edward Street

Some advice / knowledge please ...

I've got a warning message come up on the dashboard of my 2013 Volvo V40 ...

ABS / DSTC failure service required with two orange warning signs.

Has anyone had this on their Volvo ... ?

As a rough rule of thumb, if it comes and goes it's probably a cracked or corroded reluctor ring. If it stays on its likely a wheel sensor.

But that's not to say it couldnt be something really painful like a faulty ABS pump or controller, but that's thankfully less likely.

I’ve had it a few times, once a reluctor ring and once a faulty abs sensor, I have the abs light on now so I’m expecting one of the two tomorrow.
MOT and service time in the morning.

Replying to myself🤣
£320, mot and full service, fitting a replacement washer res sourced from a scrappy, new abs sensor(£25).
One advisory, slightly worn discs…they’re 7 yrs old and 50k miles so not too bad.
🤓Runs a dream.
