There's one thing guaranteed, no matter where you are people in England will always think they are getting worse weather: if you are getting rain then they'll claim it's been too dry and they'd gladly swap; if you are getting snow then they'll claim it's been too wet and they'll gladly swap; if you are getting a cold snap, then they'll claim it's too warm and they'll gladly swap.
