Yep - I like winter rides too. Some lovely riding days are to be grabbed. But the cold and wet rain here can be a bit of a challenge at times.

Hope the ride out today and about knocks the allergy for six

Ah Pearl, I think I might find even your winter too hot for me! I remember being in Bankok in November once and I found it boiling! I remember talking to some young monks at the temple who were complaining that they felt chilly. Today in SE England it is only about 15 Centigrade - I think that's a nice temperature for a ride, you don't get too hot - but this is mild for the time of year. It should be colder really.

I'll be heading back to Brasil in a few days where summer is starting. Summer in UK/Brazil winter is ok as there isn't so much of a temperature difference. But going from a Brazil summer to UK winter...brrrr....:cold:

Nice ride to work on pitch black country lanes into a headwind blowing rain and debris into me , i prefer winter to Autumn !
What's the temperature where you are, Pearl?
I dont know about Pearl but i thought it was mild this morning compared to the other week when it got down to 4 degrees in the morning .

I'm still wearing my cycle shorts but other bits are being added every week. Yesterday i wore a scarf for the first time since April. According to reports it's going to be "hotter than Madrid" by the weekend. I wish they'd say warmer than, rather than hotter than as 60F isn't hot is it! Then there are reports of "the coldest winter for decades approaching" so i'll just play it day by day and take whatever the weather throws at us....as usual!

Now, in my city the temperature is about 20 celsius. It' s ok for me. The temperature will lower around November. I think 15 celsius is too cold for me.
