We buy all these fancy accessories and none of them can abolish wind. Maybe I should hire some servants to blow it out of the way with bellows as I approach. The weather can be as bad as it likes as long as the wind doesn't blow.

You need a good low recumbent. It doesn't abolish wind, but it's a lot easier to bore past all the struggling upright cyclists.

I didn't think it was that bad, I cycle home in shorts...

There's a bloke I often pass on the Roseburn path and nearly every time he's wearing shorts and a teeshirt, right through winter, unless its raining then he might wear a light weight jacket.
