It's only of value to me that my O'/H clogs up the telly for hours when there is any diving competitions on which he is in. I live in hope she won't be quite so interested now and I get to watch a bit more of what I want to watch
What he does in his private life should remain there.

The sniggering is in respect to all the women who have mistakenly swooned over him when he is not interested in them.
O/H's uncle was married with a couple of kids before his wife died in the mid 60's, and he then came out and had many male partners since then, but never a woman.. he was always gay but suppressed it to conform. We will be saying goodbye to him this week. His sexuality made absolutely no difference to the way he was treated by others in the family. He was a really nice chap

He's a role model for many young people and could be an inspiration for many young gay people who are still in the closet. Maybe if or when everyone can accept people regardless of their sexuality then people won't struggle to say i'm gay but until then it's important to that individual and it's definitely necessary.
