Thermal Baseball Cap?

I had one of my periodic hair trims this week, so I'm now as good as bald. And the weather has turned, so my usual baseball caps are not providing much warmth which means I'm on the woolly hats which I don't like. I like the baseball cap visor as it keeps the rain off the glasses and face to come degree.

So I'm looking for a reasonable thermal baseball cap. I'd prefer if it didn't have the ear covers, but I suppose if they stayed in place without needing the fashionable (…) string tied under the chin I could be tempted.

Any suggestions?

Bundeswehr camo peak caps are much like baseball caps, but of a thicker cotton. Cheap on ebay, although the sizes come up small. Tough, and toasty warm.

Yes, it does have ear coverings, but I think you could not pull them down if you didn't like them and it would still be wearable. Certainly does have the peaked cap bit for keeping low sunlight out of your eyes / rain off your face.

I bought a Walz wool cap after they were recommended on here.

Pleasantly warm and showerproof, stays on in a stiff wind, and stylish enough to wear off the bike.

I used to have a Jack Wolfskin baseball style cap with ear flaps. Very warm. I lost it of course.

Ear flaps fold inside if you don't want/ need them providing a bit more head insulation.
